I was happy to see my husband in a green and grey scarf I knit him a fee years bacj. In addition, my bestie also wore a scarf u crocheted him, as did another friends of mine who sadly had to work while we ate sushi until we almost popped! That made three people wearing my yarn creations all in one day! Exciting to say the least.
String creations for me range from yarn projects in crochet and knitting to embroidery to quilting and of course playing vet to many a stuffed animal. I started learning how to quilt as soon as I moved to the north. My paternal grandmother was a wonderful quilter and began teaching me with scrap pieces. Before long, an aunt taught me how to embroider, and then in college, my roommate taught me to knit. Only a few months ago did a work friend teach me crochet, and I love all of these crafts! Some tease me for having 'old woman' hobbies(I also scrapbook) but I live my hobbies despite their expense.
Notice I did not include writing or video games? Both of these things have surpassed the usage of the word hobby into something much more so I will talk about them insividually when time allows. As for now, just suffice it to say I am cumpulsive about writing and gaming.
Until next time, here is a simple scarf I made to represent batman although everyone says it looks like mizzou. The darts were meant to make it look like batman's ears...
Didn't rally look like ears...next time!!! I will show you more next Sunday~
